In the Footsteps of Robert Bruce in Scotland, Nothern England and IrelandIn the Footsteps of Robert Bruce in Scotland, Nothern England and Ireland

"On 7 June 1329 died Robert Bruce, of goodly memory, the illustrious King of Scots, at Cardross in the 24th year of his reign. Dauvit Broun radically reassesses a range of fundamental issues: the fate of Pictish identity and the origins of Alba, the status of Scottish kingship vis-A-vis England, the papacy's recognition of the independence of the Scottish Church, and the idea of Scottish freedom.
