English Adventure makes learning English a memorable, magical experience. By using familiar Disney characters that children know and love, English Adventure re-creates a fantastic world of discovery and adventure in the classroom that truly motivates and encourages pupils to learn. At this level a balance of Disney characters and real life situations keeps pupils interested and motivated. The focus is on oral communication but the children work more with the written language at this level.
A set of Level 1 "Jolly Readers" containing 6 Inky & Friends book titles, 6 General Fiction and 6 Non-Fiction titles. Each book has one sentence per page and 11 Tricky Words per book.
The Jolly Readers are interesting storybooks designed for children who are just ready to read. They will have learned all the letter sounds in Jolly Phonics, and be able to blend these sounds to read simple words (including words not seen before). Available now is the first (red) level and the second (yellow) level of Jolly Readers. They use words with the basic letter sounds in Jolly Phonics, and not the alternative spellings of the digraphs. These alternative spellings will be introduced in a later level.
