Dialogue on Writing: Rethinking ESL, Basic Writing, and First-year Composition
Designed for courses on theories and methods of teaching college writing, this text is distinguished by its emphasis on giving teachers a foundation of knowledge for teaching writing to a diverse student body. As such, it is equally relevant for teacher training in basic writing, ESL, and first year composition, the premise being that in most colleges and universities today teachers of each of these types of courses encounter similar student populations and teaching challenges. Many instructors compile packets of articles for this course because they cannot find an appropriate collection in one volume. This text fills that gap.
Addition & Subtraction (Kid-Friendly Computation)
Kids can say goodbye to math anxiety with the help of the learning techniques introduced in this series of teacher-aides. Drawing on visual and kinesthetic learning strategies instead of abstract concepts, even students who have always struggled with computation can become math whizzes. Each book is designed to replace the drudgery normally associated with rote memorization with the satisfaction and success gained from engaged, hands-on learning. The key is recognizing visual patterns that exist between numbers when they are arranged in global "wholes."

TExES English as a Second Language (ESL) 154 (XAM TEXES)
it is a first edition and claims that 1,500 teachers have reviewed the book for its content. Great book! I passed the test the first time. Excellent information by reading the text. Test questions not a good example of what is on the test. Overall I could not have passed without it.
