This book has been specially written for students at 4th year EGB, as a complement to "Seguimos Juntos Language, Maths, Science and Social studies" areas. However, it is flaxible enough to be used on its own in various teaching situations.
This three-level series has been meant to meet the Contenidos Básicos of the Educación General Básica in Argentina, in its second situation: first level in the Second Cycle of EGB.

New Total English retains all the popular features of the original edition including clear CEF-related objectives which make lesson planning easy. There is a solid grammar syllabus with regular Active Grammar boxes and Reference and Review sections. It also has a strong focus on vocabulary with attention to collocations and now includes an on-line Vocabulary Trainer at each level.
