This post includes 6 news items taken from the Mary Glasgow Magazine. All items include a news story written in five different levels of English (EL, Pre-Int, Int, Upp-Int and Adv). Each level has an accompanying audio recording, so the stories can be listened to as well. I have converted the files to pdf with the audio embedded into each page. I have also included doc and mp3 files seperately for flexibility. Both techers and learners, don't miss this. It'd be a shame.

Teaching Unplugged has just been awarded the British Council 2010 ELTons UK Award for Innovation.

Dogme ELT advocates teaching ‘unplugged’: a materials-light, conversation-driven philosophy of teaching that, above all, focuses on the learner and on emergent language.
