The central theme in this edition is the Football World Cup. Both posters are meant to engage students in different language practice activities. Poster 1 presents a football pitch and several cut outs to stick in the corresponding places in order to describe situations, elicit dialogues, talk about football regulations, fair play, etc. Poster 2 will introduce students to the rules of the game through reading and speaking practice. Related to the central theme, a unit on cheating and doping in sports offers plenty of opportunities to work on attitudes and values while developing the four skills.
