A main feature of the content is the development of pupils' ecological awareness. An alternative to consumerism is also presented, through teaching pupils how to make their own gifts and objects.

Based on a three-pace syllabus, Lib and Libby is especially designed to facilitate progress at a rate which will quickly establish pupils' self-confidence, and help the teacher to be efficient and successful.

Lib and Libby (b) consists of 15 units, with each unit containing two lessons. The first page of each unit gives an overall impression of what is to follow in terms of vocabulary, new patterns of language, expressions, a game and a song.
