Writer's Choice Grade 6 is made up of four main parts: Composition; Grammar, Usage, and Mechanics; Resources and Skills; and the Writing and Research Handbook. - The Composition section teaches the student to become a better writer by focusing on a specific writing task, offering clear instruction, and providing a variety of writing activities for the student to practice what they’ve learned. - The Grammar section is made up of short, focused lessons that show how the rules and definitions of grammar are used in real-life writing. - The Resources and Skills section shows how to improve study habits, give a speech, get better at taking tests, and more. - The Writing and Research Handbook is user-friendly and gives explanations, examples, and tips to help the student write strong sentences, paragraphs, compositions, and research papers. Writer’s Choice guides the student through each phase of writing and uses each of the language arts to combine grammar and composition lessons while incorporating both classic and contemporary literature selections. Caveat: Unfortunately, the Page Navigator pdf is missing. This file is, however, completely irrelevant as far as the content of the textbook itself is concerned. Moreover, the interactivity feature allows to access individual pages very easily via the links in the Contents.pdf, or the Cover.pdf. :-)
