English in the Southern United States (Studies in English Language)
The English of the Southern United States is possibly the most studied of any regional variety of any language. However, most, if not all, books about Southern American English have been directed almost exclusively toward scholars already working in the field. Written by a team of experts, many of them internationally known, this volume provides a broad overview of the foundations of, and current research on, language variation in the Southern United States.

A great book, covers many firearms. It is a wonderful reference, and will soon be a collector's item. It lists and describes all of the currently manufactured production-line sporting firearms made in the United States. It also lists and describes those made abroad and sold in the United States, whether they are designed here and produced specifically for the American import market, or designed in the country of manufacture for sale here and perhaps elsewhere. Specifications are provided; background data and comment arc provided; clear photographs of most of the guns are provided; and there are even exploded views and cutaway or other technical illustrations of some of them.
The Rise of Medieval Towns and States in East Central Europe
This book is a contribution to efforts to understand the transformation that took place across the European continent, and in particular East Central Europe, during the second half of the first millennium. Its goal is to draw conclusions primarily on the basis of the archaeological evidence from important early medieval centres. A special emphasis is given to Pohansko near Breclav (Czech Republic), perhaps the best studied centre of its kind in the entire region.

The answer has to do not only with the talents of American artists or even the size of the American economy, but also--and especially--the skills and entrepreneurship of American art dealers. Their story has not been told...until now.
