It is the year 2522, and the planet Earth is dying. The Artificial Ozone Layer is only 300 years old, but it is breaking up fast. Now the sun is burning down on Earth. There is no water. Without water, nothing can live. Trees die, plants die, animals die, people die . . . In a colony under the moon, people wait for news - news from home, news from the planet Earth. And in a spaceship high above Earth, a young man watches numbers on a computer screen. The numbers tell a story, and the young man is afraid. The planet Earth is burning, burning, burning . .
Seaside Numbers is a beautifully illustrated children's book by well-known author Suzy-Jane Tanner. It is from a new series of books which encourage learning and play in young children, engaging them in an interactive reading experience. In Seaside Numbers, Young children will have fun counting one sand castle, two seashells up to twelve cold drinks with the Elephant family and their friends at the seaside.
Drawing on their hugely popular BBC Radio 4 show More or Less, journalist Michael Blastland and internationally known economist Andrew Dilnot delight, amuse, and convert American mathphobes by showing how our everyday experiences make sense of numbers.

Little firends: Flashcards
Little Friends is a course for very young children who do not read or write. It develops vocabulary, introduces phonics, and teaches numbers. Little Friends helps you to make learning English simple and fun for very young learners. The engaging characters and enjoyable, age-appropriate activities create a positive learning environment where students can develop vocabulary skills, learn English sounds through phonics, discover the numbers 1–10, and practise pre-reading and pre-writing skills. Little Friends is the starter level for First Friends but can be used on its own as a one-level course.
