Living in a country where there are not (yet) many English books available, Englishtips is a real treasure cove to me. Never knew I could find all this.
It has helped me enormously in teaching English and certainly helped me making it more fun and more interesting. From the bottom of my heart, thank you - everybody who participates as well as the Administrator and TC's.
Englishtips helped me not only to finish my studies in time, but also to be one of the most respected English teachers in my country. Therefore it is really hard to thank and express my admiration to all of those who kept it alive. It was strange when I first entered this site... Once you get in, is hard to get away. There's everything you need.. to pass an exam, to find what to teach, to read for fun.... it's really an amazing place which also is worth paying although it's absolutely free of charge.
Without Englishtips I would be virtually unable to do my work. When I'm considering buying English coursebooks, which are, as we all know, impossibly expensive, I always come here to check whether the resource is worth buying or not. Although there may be marvellous pre- and reviews for the book and you can even have a look at a few sample pages on the publisher's page, you can still discover that the book is a real disappointment and you can't use it for the money you gave away for it. It's was mainly prepared for the students from the US, however, student teachers from other countries may find it useful.
Singing in the Kinder Vol.4 presents a collection of classic children's songs in new versions to be used in Kindergarten classes. English teachers and children will enjoy this wonderful array of timeless songs all of which contain lyrics that are fun and appropriate for teaching English. Some favorites such as "Six little ducks", "Baby beluga" and and "Old McDonald had a farm" among others are ideal to use along with stories, puppets and TPR.
