Parker remains the true dispassionate enigma. Sure he's heartless, cruel and vindictive but you've just gotta love the guy.

Obsession - [21] Alex Delaware mystery by Jonathan Kellerman

Obsession - [21] Alex Delaware mystery by Jonathan Kellerman Jonathan Kellerman - Obsession
Mega-best-selling Kellerman delivers another psychological suspense tale starring shrink hero Alex Delaware. While the Delaware novels are wildly popular, this one, at least, gets by only on plot. The characters are sketchily drawn, except for Delaware's new dog, who receives far more intensive (and ridiculous) development than any human in the book. Kellerman also takes the shortcut of having his characters deliver plot details and provide background motivations in artificial dialogue that should have been left to an omniscient narrator. But Kellerman does have a strong plot going for him (once we've waded through excessive descriptions of meals and interiors). The story centers on a young woman, whom Delaware treated as a child and who returns to tell the psychologist of the deathbed confession of her aunt and adopted mother--a woman whom Alex remembers as a heroically capable mother and nurse. The recently deceased woman allegedly told her niece that she had killed someone.

Harvard Business School - Project Management ManualHarvard Business School - Project Management Manual
Concise manual for project management practitioners. Because of its consisting of only 42 pages, material is easier to master than other books describing this area. I personally enjoyed it also as a source of American - English business related vocabulary.

Don't Know Much About History

Don't Know Much About History Don't Know Much About History
When "Don't Know Much About History" first appeared in 1990, it was simply meant to serve as a fresh new take on American history. Busting myths with a dose of humor and real stories about real people, the book was conceived as an antidote to the dull, dreary textbooks we suffered through in high school or college.

With the same question-and-answer style, this updated, revised, and greatly expanded edition brings history right up to Bill Clinton's impeachment and the bizarre 2000 election. Incorporating new discoveries, revelations, and theories about America's past, this revised edition elaborates on such long-standing American controversies as the
Jefferson-Hemings affair, the Hiss and Rosenberg cases, and the Iran-Contra adventure.

For history buffs and history-phobes, longtime fans and a new generation still in the dark about America's past, this book provides "Everything You Need to Know About American History". And more!

Sex with the Queen 900 Years of Vile Kings, Virile Lovers, and Passionate Politics Sex with the Queen
900 Years of Vile Kings, Virile Lovers, and Passionate Politics

Impeccably researched, filled with page-turning romance, passion, and scandal, Sex with the Queen explores the scintillating sexual lives of some of our most beloved and infamous female rulers.

When a queen became sick to death of her husband and took a lover, anything could happen, from disgrace and death to political victory. Some kings imprisoned erring wives for life; other monarchs obligingly named the queen's lover prime minister.

The crucial factor deciding the fate of an unfaithful queen was the love affair's implications in terms of power, money, and factional rivalry. At European courts, it was the politics, not the sex, that caused a royal woman's tragedy, or her ultimate triumph.
