The World of Words: Vocabulary for College Success, 8th Edition
The World of Words is a user-friendly book that students find challenging but very useful. They often see the words in this book in other places such as college textbooks, newspapers, magazines, content area journals and hear them in newscasts and radio broadcasts.
A smart dog is a cartoon story which was prepared as a warm up activity by Ridvan B. Saglam. It was origianlly a short joke, and then redesigned as cartoon story which is displayed as a multimedia source. It can be used as a warm-up activity for Simple Past, Past Cont., Present Perfect, or just for fun.
