Kids’ Circle is a six-level American English course designed for primary students with little or no background in English. Its solid, easy-to-follow program helps students develop the four language skills, with an emphasis on listening and speaking. Stories, songs, and dialogs introduce everyday language that gets students using English from the start. Time to Think sections enhance critical thinking skills. CLIL activities build skills and knowledge across a variety of subjects, like math, literature, culture, and language arts.
Dolphins are interactive graded readers specially designed to make developing language skills fun for younger learners. Full-colour illustrations and cross-curricular content stimulate students' interest and maintain their attention, while carefully graded English introduces them to new language points in an entertaining context. Integrated activities for every page of story text encourage students to practise newly acquired language skills.
WordWorld revolves around WordFriends and WordThings characters and items comprising the letters that spell them in the correct order. So, for example, a barn is made out of the letters B-A-R-N, and a pie out of P-I-E, but in such a way as to actually look like a barn or pie -- with this rule extending to the animals who are the sentient characters in the show. The WordThings can be assembled and disassembled during the show by the characters, who use the items on their adventures and to solve their problems.
This title contains 50 cards each showing a game, activity or puzzle to keep children entertained on a long car journey. It includes activities such as memory games, rhyming games and spotting games, sure to keep children (and adults!) amused for hours. Every card is colorfully illustrated and contains clear, step-by-step instructions. The cards are durable and robust, ensuring repeated use.
