Transatlantic Voices is the first collection of critical essays by European scholars on contemporary Native North American literatures. Devoted to the primary genres of Native literature—fiction, nonfiction, drama, poetry—the essays chart the course of recent theories of Native literature, delineate the crosscurrents in the history of Native literature studies, and probe specific themes of trauma and memory as well as changing mythologies. These essays also incorporate incipient transnational and transcultural methodologies in their approach to Native North American writing.

Grade 1-4 A traveling cobbler makes Sam Bennett some new shoes. They are too big, but he grows into them. As the seasons progress, he helps his family in many ways, including feeding the livestock, planting crops, carrying water, and assisting in the sheep shearing. He also plays in the snow, hangs out with his family, and travels to town for the first time. Sam grows not only into his new shoes but also into his new responsibilities as a young man. Thermess tale is chock-full of historical facts and tidbits. Her detailed illustrations show much about 18th-century life but stay focused on the central narrative. An authors note explains that hidden shoes in the walls of old houses, called concealments, inspired the story. This title can be used as an educational tool or simply as an enjoyable read-aloud.

A #1 bestseller in the United Kingdom and an urban antidote to "A Year in Provence," this laugh-out-loud account of a year in the life of an expat in Paris is the almost-true story of the author's own experiences
Midnight Sun was an expected companion novel to the book Twilight by author Stephenie Meyer. It would be a retelling of the events of Twilight, but written from the perspective of Edward Cullen as opposed to that of Bella Swan. better quality file added Thanks to narisha & Jack Sparrow
