Prove your point - The Art of Argument in English

The aim of the book is to help high school graduates prepare for the ability to express and justify their own opinions on difficult and controversial topics during the oral matura exam.
The topics were developed according to a uniform principle. The first part presents the pros and cons, advantages and disadvantages, or benefits and threats. The second part includes lexical exercises to help you learn more difficult vocabulary, useful set phrases and prepositions. In the third part, the student will find a set of questions prompting them to form an opinion on various topics.

Apart from future high school graduates, the addressees of this publication are all learners of English at the secondary and higher level.

This book has some elements in Polish and is perfect for Polish Matura exam preparation, however, it can very well be used for other purposes by non-Polish speakers.

I have added bookmarks to the pdf file, which have the few Polish section names translated. Otherwise, it's mainly in English (including the instructions).

Zadaniem książki jest wspomóc maturzystów w przygotowaniu do umiejętności wyrażania i uzasadniania własnych opinii na trudne i kontrowersyjne tematy podczas ustnego egzaminu maturalnego.
Tematy opracowano według jednolitej zasady. W części pierwszej przedstawiono argumenty typu za i przeciw, zalety i wady lub korzyści i zagrożenia. W części drugiej zostały zamieszczone ćwiczenia leksykalne ułatwiające przyswojenie trudniejszego słownictwa, przydatnych związków frazeologicznych i przyimków. W części trzeciej natomiast uczeń znajdzie zestaw pytań skłaniających do formułowania opinii na różne tematy.

Oprócz przyszłych maturzystów adresatami tej publikacji są wszyscy uczący się angielskiego na poziomie średnim i wyższym.
