Part of a primary-school ELT course based on stories in the pupil's books which are also represented in large poster form. Focusing on listening and speaking, the course brings together language and actions, and contains things to make and do. Big Red Bus is a complete four-level story-based course for primary school children. It focuses on stories, activities and the use of TPR (Total Physical Response) which sensitize children to English without teaching it in a formal way. • Big Red Bus 1 and 2 focus on listening and speaking skills. A key feature in these levels is the Picture Dictionary, which the children build up at the end of each unit • Big Red Bus 3 and 4 move more into the real world developing reading and writing skills, with factual reading passages at the end of each unit • Flashcards are available for levels 1 to 3 and poster packs with enlarged illustrations of pages from the Pupil's Book (plus Guide) are available for Levels 1 and 2.
