Wonders of the Asian World - China & South Korea (VIDEO)

As the world's largest stone structure, the Great Wall is considered one of the wonders of the world, but it is just one of the many architectural masterpieces and cultural heritage sites that dot the landscape of China and South Korea. From the Forbidden City, which houses the imperial palaces of the Ming and Qing dynasties, to ancient Qufu, which features the 5th-century temple, cemetery and family mansion of Confucious, students will take a vivid look at some of China's legendary sites. In South Korea, explore the Haeinsa Temple, the legendary home to the Tripitaka Koreana, the remarkably well-preserved collection of Buddhist texts, engraved on approximately 80,000 woodblocks in the 13th century.
