Rainforest for Children - Animals of the Rainforest (VIDEO)

The exotic sights and sounds of the many insects, reptiles, birds and other animals thriving in the tropical rainforest are explored in this program. It presents facts about where animals live, what they eat, how they adapt to changes in their environment and how they protect themselves from predators. Children will be intrigued by an incredible variety of species, including iguanas, jaguars, tapirs, coatimundis, snakes, sloths, spiders, caterpillars, beetles, katydids, mantises, butterflies, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, scarlet macaws, aricaris, cattle egrets, hummingbirds, bats, woodpeckers, leafcutter ants and anteaters.
