The following worksheets and cards can be printed from the Teacher's resource Disk:
Extra reading comprehension activities. Each unit's reading selection appears on a worksheet with in-depth traditional comprehension and critical thinking questions.
Writing process worksheets. Pre-writing and peer-editing activities help students become better writer by offering them an opportunity to take initiative in generating (brainstorming) ideas for writing and in correcting for accuracy and clarity.
Learning strategies. These activities teach and practice learning strategies students can apply over and over again, such as vocabulary building, skimming, scanning, and clarification.
Grammar self-checks. Inductive grammar charts provide an alternative grammar presentation as well as cognitive activities to promote students' grammar awareness.
Pronunciation activities and supplements. Pair work activities provide extra practice of each unit's pronunciation point. Pronunciation supplements focus on additional pronunciation points that are illustrated and practiced in the unit's conversation models.
