Straight Man by Ken Duncum
BBC Radio, Arts & Drama.
It's a comic look at what constitutes modern family life.
Tom’s relatively settled life with his second wife Sophie and unruly teen stepdaughter is turned inside out when Kel - Sophie’s ex - is thrown out by his current wife and comes to stay.
As Kel begins to take over various man-of-the-house roles. Tom is appalled to realise that his wife is beginning to settle into having both of them around. Increasingly desperate to get Kel out of the house, Tom is forced to seek advice from a series of unlikely allies. His plan is bold, even crazy, but it just might work!
