Everyday CreativityEveryday Creativity

To illustrate this, Richards gathers together in Everyday Creativity a provocative collection of essays; an interdisciplinary group of eminent thinkers and writers who offer their thoughts on how embracing creativity--tapping into the "originality of everyday life"--can lead to improved physical and mental health, to new ways of thinking, of experiencing the world and ourselves. The Well-BelovedThe Well-Beloved

The Well-Beloved is a novel by Thomas Hardy, published in 1897. The main setting of the novel was The Isle of Slingers, a caricature of the Isle of Portland in Dorset, southern England. The Well Beloved was one of Hardy's last novels. It was first published in three-part serial form in 1892. The novel tells the story of the sculptor Jocelyn Pierston's search for the ideal woman, through three generations of a Portland family. A cottage housing what is now Portland Museum, on the Isle of Portland, founded by Marie Stopes, a friend of Hardy and his wife, was an inspiration for the book.

The Second Funeral of Napoleon by William Makepeace ThackerayThe Second Funeral of Napoleon by William Makepeace Thackeray

An interesting book about the re-burial of French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in Paris. Thackeray penned it using Michael Angelo Titmarch as his nom-de-plum. Composed of three letters, this book is not only significant for its historical content but also throws light on the political scenario of the time. Riveting!
