East/West 1 (SB + WB)

East West is a three-level course for adults and young adults designed to improve the communication skills of students from the false beginner to high-intermediate level. Based on a well-researched syllabus that integrates grammartical, functional, topical and situational content, it provides extensive speaking and listening practice through activities that are both carefully controlled and communicative.

Each unit of the SB follows a consistent, 8-page format. The WB provides written reinforcement of the oral skills practiced in the SB as well as controlled writing exercises that expand these skills.
