Jennifer began teaching English in 1996, first as a private instructor and later in the classroom. She is also an ESL/EFL materials writer, experienced teacher trainer with B.A and M.A. degrees. She welcomes teachers of English to use her videos to supplement their own lessons.

In the videos Jennifer explains her view on teaching slang and shares the first of several mini lessons. Dialogues in this series of lessons are broken down to 3 components to show the (1)expressions, changes in (2)pronunciation, and changes in (3)grammar that are common in informal English.
