Primary Readers series for young learners. It tells the story of a hungry, red fox searching for something to eat in the forest. She discovers some food hidden in the hole of a tree. She climbs into the hole and helps herself to all the cheese, bread and chicken inside. But then she has a problem. She can't fit through the hole again because now she is too fat from eating all the food. She begs for help from a black dog passing by. Can the dog help her get out or will she be stuck inside the hole until she gets thin again?
MM Primary Readers is a charming series divided into six carefully graded levels featuring both original and classic stories that make use of basic grammatical structures and limited vocabulary.
The stories are told through a combination of narrative and dialogue styles making them ideal for acting out in the classroom or performing on stage.
Each book features full-color, glossy illustrations to help facilitate understanding.
The stories are divided into four-page sections and each section is followed by two pages that present simple activities and a picture glossary to assess comprehension and practice new vocabulary.
An original song, thematically linked to the story, is also included.
An alphabetical word list is included at the back of each book.
Each book is accompanied by a CD that can be used either as an audio CD or as a CD-ROM (Win/Mac) and features a fully dramatized version of the story and song with background music in both American English and British English. It also contains complete, uninterrupted versions of the background music for staging purposes.
