Testy klasyfikacyjne (Placement Tests) pomagaja nauczycielom ocenic, czy uczniowie opanowali jezyk angielski wystarczajaco, aby rozpoczac kurs Sky od poziomu 1, czy tez powinni przejsc najpierw przez poziom Starter.
Placement Tests (с инструктивным комментарием на польском языке) помогают преподавателям оценить уровень подготовки тех, кто обучается по курсу Sky и ответить на вопрос,отовы ли они продолжать обучение по программе уровня 1, или же им следует пройти обучение по курсу уровня Starter. Издательсство Longman подготовило 2 варианта теста А и И. Каждый из них состоит из 4 частей: Vocabulary, Grammar, Communication и Reading.

NEW SNAPSHOT ELEMENTARY PLACEMENT TEST Students need to get 50 marks (equal to 50%) to be at the correct level for NEW Snapshot Elementary. Grammar (40 marks), vocabulary (30 marks) and communication (30 marks). You should allow 40-45 minutes for this test
Although proficiency in vocabulary has long been recognized as basic to reading proficiency, there has been a paucity of research on vocabulary teaching and learning over the last two decades. Recognizing this, the U.S. Department of Education recently sponsored a Focus on Vocabulary conference that attracted the best-known and most active researchers in the vocabulary field. This book is the outgrowth of that conference. It presents scientific evidence from leading research programs that address persistent issues regarding the role of vocabulary in text comprehension.
