Such a standardisation is long overdue considering the rapid development of Natural Language Processing in general and natural language based Artificial Intelligence in particular. The word meanings presented in this book are the building blocks of natural language based artificial intellect. Because many words have the same meaning, a programmer would use a code for this meaning when making a rule, rather than listing each time the words that have it.
