The transparencies in this collection can be used from the end of the second year of learning English. Each transparency deals with a typical situation such as students may encounter on a journey or while staying in Britain (or any other English-speaking country). They provide a good opportunity for introducing and reinforcing the language that is required to deal with these situations, combined with an element of light humour.
"Introducing Mechanics" has been written to cover all the Mechanics requirements for single-subject A Level. Through the nature of its style and contents it is ideal for both A- and AS-Level Mechanics. The key points are: clear text and style; includes worked examples so that students can work alone; and exercises and examination questions.
Introducing Biological Rhythms is a primer that serves to introduce individuals to the area of biological rhythms. The Naked God - vol. 1 Flight and vol. 2 Faith
This final installment of Peter F. Hamilton's Homeric space adventure, which began with The Reality Dysfunction, volumes I (Emergence) and II (Expansion), and continued in The Neutronium Alchemist, volumes I (Consolidation) and II (Conflict), is no simple winding up of the story. You'll be amazed to find Hamilton busily introducing new characters, new plots, and new enigmas up to the very end. After all this time can he possibly surprise us? Absolutely.
Introducing Semiotics (Beginners)Introducing Semiotics does just that, it INTRODUCES the topic, head thinkers, facets of thought, etc., to the reader (one would assume the reader a casual one, not brought to reading this by a graduate course). It is a fair and thorough evaluation of what semiotics IS and what it IS NOT. It does everything I believe it sets out to do, and it is a great read for everyone, even one who already has a firm grasp on the topic. I recommend it most highly.
