Colloquial Mongolian: The Complete Course for Beginners
I just came across a sample of this online and I found it a brilliant way to learn the Mongolian language. I decided to post it to Englishtips.org for any teachers originating in Anglophone countries who are presently teaching or who are planning to teach in Mongolia.
If you like this offering after sampling the audio and text, please be sure to thank the authors (Alan J.K. Sanders, Jantsangiyn Bat-Ireedui) and publishers at Routledge, by purchasing the real deal.

Background to the List The PET list was originally developed by ESOL in consultation with external consultants to guide item writers who produce materials for the PET examination. It includes vocabulary from the Council of Europe’s Threshold specification and other vocabulary which corpus evidence shows is high-frequency.

Syntactic Structures (2nd Edition) (Paperback)
Noam Chomsky's first book on syntactic structures is one of the first serious attempts on the part of a linguist to construct within the tradition of scientific theory-construction a comprehensive theory of language which may be understood in the same sense that a chemical, biological theory is understood by experts in those fields.

There is enough material to even prep the Toeic Speaking Test and the Toeic Writing Test, two independent tests that are sometime required by employers.
