An amazing science fiction story where in 1899 a playwright by the name of Bedford meets a scientist Cavor on the coast of England. The scientist has discovered a metal alloy that blocks gravity waves. The two men then head for the moon where they encounter bug-like creatures who live below the surface of the moon raising and feeding on large “mooncalves.” The men are taken prisoner but somehow manage to escape back to mother Earth.
