"SOME OF THE RESULTS MAY SEEM MIRACULOUS, BUT I AM NOT WRITING ABOUT MIRACLES.THIS IS ABOUT PRACTICAL IDEAS AND TECHNIQUES THAT WORK."What if-the next time you stub your toe, crunch your finger in a door, or crack your shin on the corner of a coffee table-what if you could heal yourself in just minutes, with no pain and no bruising?Astounding though it sounds, you can do it.Serge Kahili King will show you how.Dr. King draw upon his decades of personal experiences, research, and understanding of medical science to present a truly remarkable synthesis of healing techniques using words, imagination, touch, and energy.
The aim of this book is to show the way forward to a coherent view of language in which the achievement of the formalist paradigm is strengthened to the extent that its claims are weakened. A formal theory such as generative grammar is a special theory which is to be subsumed in a general theory of linguistic communication that also includes pragmatics. The tension between the psycho-formalist and the socio-functional views could be resolved in a synthesis whereby both the psychological and social natures of language are fully acknowledged.
