Radical Construction Grammar: Syntactic Theory in Typological PerspectiveRadical Construction Grammar: Syntactic Theory in Typological Perspective

This book is based on the results of research in language typology, and motivated by the need for a theory to explain them. Croft proposes intimate links between syntactic and semantic structures, and argues that the basic elements of any language are not syntactic but rather syntactic-semantic "Gestalts". He puts forward a new approach to syntactic representation and a new model of how language and languages work.

The economists were themselves asked to state their principal contributions to economics, supplemented by a list of their leading books and articles.

Carbon-centered Free Radicals and Radical Cations: Structure, Reactivity, and DynamicsCarbon-centered Free Radicals and Radical Cations: Structure, Reactivity, and Dynamics

With its focus on the of carbon-centered radicals and radical cations, this book helps readers fully exploit the synthetic utility of these intermediates in order to prepare fine chemicals and pharmaceutical products. Moreover, it helps readers better understand their role in complex atmospheric reactions and biological systems. Thoroughly up to date, the book highlights the most advanced computational and experimental methods available for studying and using these critically important intermediates.
Carbon-Centered Free Radicals and Radical Cations begins with a short history of the field of free radical , and then covers:

William Blake on Self and SoulWilliam Blake on Self and Soul

It has been clear from the beginning that William Blake was both a political radical and a radical psychologist, and in William Blake on Self and Soul Laura Quinney uses her sensitive, surprising readings of the poet to reveal his innovative ideas about the experience of subjectivity.
Blake’s central topic, Quinney shows us, is a contemporary one: the discomfiture of being a self or subject.

Chemists are now moving away from volatile, environmentally harmful, and biologically incompatible organic solvents. With its low cost, ready availability, and capacity to remove environmentally unfriendly by-products, water is an obvious replacement.
Recent advances in free radical chemistry in water have expanded the versatility and flexibility of homolytic carbon-hydrogen, carbon-carbon, carbon-halogen, carbon-nitrogen bond formations in aqueous media. .
