Not about quilts in the classic sense this book is about making "quilts" or geometric quilt-like decorative patterns similar to tile mosaics, using origami (Japanese paperfolding) techniques. Tomoko Fuse is the reigning master of modular origami designs, in which multiple sheets of paper are folded into identical or similar shapes. These are then linked into larger objects, often three dimensional, but in this case, 2 dimensional mosaics. Some modular origami experience is recommended, plus a large supply of origami paper!
