Introduction to Logic combines likely the broadest scope of any logic textbook available with clear, concise writing and interesting examples and arguments. Its key features, all retained in the Second Edition, include: • Simpler ways to test arguments than those available in competing textbooks, including the star test for syllogisms • A wide scope of materials, making it suitable for introductory logic courses (as the primary text) or intermediate classes (as the primary or supplementary book)
From Discourse to Logic If you are a semanticist you already know that anything Kamp writes matters. Now that there is a book in which he appears as the principal author, I'll make the sensible prediction that this two-part magnum opus will make history. It will be consulted as an essential reference for years to come, and will surely join the ranks of distinguished books such as Montague's celebrated Formal Philosophy.

Lectures on Logic (The Cambridge Edition of the Works of Immanuel Kant in Translation)
Kant's views on logic and logical theory play an important part in his critical writings, especially in the Critique of Pure Reason. This volume includes three previously untranslated transcripts of Kant's logic lectures: the Blomberg Logic (1770s); the Vienna Logic supplemented by the recently discovered Hechsel Logic (1780s); and the Dohna-Wundlacken Logic (1790s). Also included is a new translation of the Jäsche Logic, compiled at Kant's request from his lectures and published in 1800.
Love and Logic: Childhood Lying, Stealing & Cheating
Children sometimes reason that if they can lie, they might as well cheat and steal too, and then lie about cheating and stealing. Parents and educators often find untruths to be overwhelming and frustrating. Foster W. Cline, M.D. shares techniques which improve communi-cation, avoid confrontations, and guide children toward trust and honesty.
