Let's Play GeometryLet's Play Geometry

Through fascinating stories and rhymes, young readers are introduced to some elementary geometry.
The book is made up of adventures which bring in the theory, and some exercises to develop the topics.
It is written in a simple and attractive language, and is particularly well-suited to 5-8 year olds.

Algebraic GeometryAlgebraic Geometry

His current research interest is the geometry of projective varieties and vector bundles. He has been a visiting professor at the College de France and at Kyoto University, where he gave lectures in French and in Japanese, respectively. Professor Hartshorne is married to Edie Churchill, educator and psychotherapist, and has two sons. He has travelled widely, speaks several foreign languages, and is an experienced mountain climber. He is also an accomplished amateur musician: he has played the flute for many years, and during his last visit to Kyoto he began studying the shakuhachi.

Math Triumphs: Foundations for Geometry (Student Edition + Teacher Edition)Math Triumphs is an intensive intervention resource for students who are two or more years below grade level. The series provides step-by-step intervention, vocabulary support, and data-driven decision making to help students succeed in high school mathematics. Designed to support students needing the most intensive intervention, Math Triumphs: Foundations for Geometry helps build mastery of the foundational skills from prior grades that are prerequisites to the current grade level. Uniquely scaffolded practice problems provide support by breaking down each skill into the simplest understanding. Ongoing assessments throughout Math Triumphs help teachers identify student needs.

Methods of Geometry (Wiley-Interscience)Methods of Geometry (Wiley-Interscience)

A practical, accessible introduction to advanced geometry Exceptionally well-written and filled with historical and bibliographic notes, Methods of Geometry presents a practical and proof-oriented approach. The author develops a wide range of subject areas at an intermediate level and explains how theories that underlie many fields of advanced mathematics ultimately lead to applications in science and engineering. Foundations, basic Euclidean geometry, and transformations are discussed in detail and applied to study advanced plane geometry, polyhedra, isometries, similarities, and symmetry.
