God's Equation: Einstein, Relativity, and the Expanding UniverseGod's Equation: Einstein, Relativity, and the Expanding Universe

Are we on the verge of solving the riddle of creation using Einstein's ""greatest blunder""?
In a work that is at once lucid, exhilarating and profound, renowned mathematician Dr. Amir Aczel, critically acclaimed author of Fermat's Last Theorem, takes us into the heart of science's greatest mystery.

The Theory and Practice of EconometricsThe Theory and Practice of Econometrics

This broadly based graduate-level textbook covers the major models and statistical tools currently used in the practice of econometrics. It examines the classical, the decision theory, and the Bayesian approaches, and contains material on single equation and simultaneous equation econometric models. Includes an extensive reference list for each topic.

Differential Equations: Conference Proceedings This volume forms a record of the lectures given at this International Conference. Under the general heading of the equations of mathematical physics, contributions are included on a broad range of topics in the theory and applications of ordinary and partial differential equations, including both linear and non-linear equations. The topics cover a wide variety of methods, and a equally wide variety of equations including the Laplace equation, Navier-Stokes equations, Boltzmann's equation, reaction-diffusion equations, Schroedinger equations and certain non-linear wave equations.

"A Briefer History of Time" by Stephen Hawking (Audio, text and illustrations)

"A Briefer History of Time" by Stephen Hawking (Audio, text and illustrations)A Briefer History of Time attempts to explain a range of subjects in cosmology, including the Big Bang, black holes, light cones and superstring theory, to the nonspecialist reader. Its main goal is to give an overview of the subject but, unusual for a popular science book, it also attempts to explain some complex mathematics. The author notes that an editor warned him that for every equation in the book the readership will be halved, hence it includes only a single equation: E = mcІ.

In addition to Hawking’s abstinence from equations, the book also simplifies matters by means of illustrations throughout the text, depicting complex models and diagrams.
