Maths - Grade 7
In this unit, of Connected Mathematics, students are developing skills in areas that are traditionally known as algebra. This unit introduces them to situations that can be modeled with linear functions and graphed with straight lines.

Note that not all adverbs of manner which answer the question "How…?" end in -ly. Most of them do, like this:
- How did they sleep? ~ They slept peacefully
- How well does she dance ~ She dances sublimely
But common exceptions include:
hard fast straight late
- He worked hard in order to pass the exam
- He was driving straight at me and I ran very fast to get out of his way.
- There was a power failure earlier today and the trains are all running late - this and much more inside...

This is fundamentally a reference book. Parts of the book are written as stand-alone tutorials to make it easy for you to get into whatever you're up and running with SPSS, you can skip around and read just the sections you need.

You really don't want to read straight through the entire book. That way leads to boredom. The author went straight through everything to write the book, and believe me, you don't to do that.

Answering the question "What is death?" by focusing on the individual is blinkered. It restricts attention to a narrow zone around the individual body of a creature. Instead, how expansive is the answer we receive when we look at the context of death within the biosphere. Death now is tied to all of life, via the atmosphere and ocean. Death supports the  biological enterprise of making abundant the green and squiggly life. Talk about death has headed us straight into a contemplation of life, not only individual life, but big life, life on a global scale. Death and life are neatly dovetailed by the supreme cabinetmaker of evolution.
