Christmas is humbug, Scrooge says - just a time when you find yourself a year older and not a penny richer. The only thing that matters to Scrooge is business, and making money.
But on Christmas Eve three spirits come to visit him. They take him travelling on the wings of the night to see the shadows of Christmas past, present, and future - and Scrooge learns a lesson that he will never forget.
Ebenezer Scrooge doesn't like Christmas. He doesn't like people. He only likes money. But when the ghost of his friend Old Marley visits him on Christmas Eve, it's the beginning of a very strange night. Next morning he wishes everybody a Merry Christmas! So what has changed bad, old Mr. Scrooge? Since it was published in 1843, Charles Dickens's celebrated story about the meaning of Christmas has captured the hearts of millions of people all over the world.

The publisher liked it so much that he put it on a shelf and asked Don Rosa to do the 12 part serie. As soon as the serie was all done and published, he released it in North America (Europe had it one year earlier). Oh, in case you didn't notice, Don Rosa always add a D.U.C.K somewhere on his covers and on the 1st pic of page one of a story. It is like a where is charlie game :} Some are very easy to find, some are real hard. D.U.C.K. stands for Dedicated to Uncle Carl from Keno (the artist real name is Keno Don Rosa) and we all know that Carl is Carl Barks, the creator of Uncle $crooge This issue D.U.C.K is half a duck :} ---**---
