Disney Educational - Bill Nye The Science Guy: Patterns

Patterns occur in many areas of nature, including music, waves, honeycombs, and plants. In Bill Nye the Science Guy: Patterns, the Science Guy looks at how patterns help humans to organize the data that bombards them on a daily basis. He also explains how math evolved to help make sense of these patterns. As usual, students need not fear that such a complicated subject will be tedious; just when things begin to look seriously straight, Nye cracks another joke or brings on a music video parody, both trademarks of his show.

Grade Levels: 3-8
