All around is a three-level series for children in primary schools with one to three teaching periods of English per week. This series focuses primarily on the teaching as a foreign language.
This is one of a series of three practice test books written and designed for EFL teachers preparing their students for the national foreign language exams in English, leading to the state certificate of language proficiency (KPG). Work for this series has been carried out within the framework of the project entitled “Differentiated and Graded National Foreign Language Exams” (Greek acronym DiaPEG), which is co-financed by the European Union and Greece, with the purpose to support and further develop the national foreign language exam system of Greece.
This book discusses the empirical studies on how biological age influences foreign language learning in school. It provides a succinct overview of a complex field for both experts and researchers interested in the teaching and learning of foreign languages.
An Introduction to Foreign Language Learning and Teaching
One of the original aims of the book is to provide an account of the field which was up to date, but which at the same time gave a historical persective, showing where current ideas and developments have come from. This perspective is important if we are to understand where we are , and eve where we may be going.
