Kindergarten-Grade 2-One of the few biography series for beginning readers. Each book gives an overview of a president's life and has pen-and-ink sketches or photos on most double-page spreads. All three titles have double-page spreads of vital statistics and quick facts. However, it is disconcerting that the authors continually refer to their subjects by their first names well past their childhood years The final pages include a one-page glossary, an index, and a list of the same three Internet sites with a disclaimer that these sites are subject to change. To remedy that problem, there is a statement on how to find presidential information on the Internet.
