Similar to the previous 99 Jumpstarts to Research but designed for younger students, this book helps teachers and librarians to teach basic research and information literacy skills to children. To help them master the research process and narrow the limitless array of sources available on commonly researched topics in elementary and middle schools, students are taught a basic note-taking process and given specific source ideas and subject headings for each topic discussed. Grades 3-8.
This Teacher’s Edition is a book which contains the answers to the exercises in SB. Teachers won’t find there original methodology or new approach to old problems. It is just a pragmatic book which saves a teacher’s time. Besides it has a set of worksheets (I consider them TESTS) for each unit in SB.
JOURNEYS Write-in Readers are consumable work texts that keep students interacting with text and focus on vocabulary and reading comprehension. They help struggling children reach grade-level competencies.
Grades 1 to 4 • Ages 6 and Up In Star Wars® Math: Jabba's Game Galaxy™, watch your students' brainpower grow as they face Jabba the Hutt in an age-old strategy game or play a variation of the familiar classroom game "Pig" with a classmate or a favorite character. Activities using addition, subtraction, multiplication, place value and equivalencies are included. Balanced attention to both computation and reasoning makes this a great choice.
An exceptionally strong skills training programme which covers language skills, phonics, and civic education skills. This six-level course offers a fast-paced syllabus and a wide range of optional resources to support a high number of teaching hours per week. * One third of each unit is dedicated to skills training. The step-by-step approach focuses on writing and early literacy skills to build children's confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. * One in six lessons is a phonics lesson to train children to recognize and produce English sounds.
