A very nice companion for the book. Only that it is the first edition. Very nice for beginners to practice the essential skills. It works under any windows platform; however, I have not tried it with Vista.
Who knew a stylebook could be so much fun? For lovers of language, Lapsing Into a Comma is a sensible and very funny guide to the technicalities of writing and copy editing. Author Bill Walsh, chief copy editor in the business section of the Washington Post, humorously discusses the changing rules of proper print style in the information age. Is it "e-mail" or "email"? According to established grammatical rules, it should be e-mail, but in common practice, we often use email (which should be pronounced "uhmail," but we all know not to do that). Therefore, email is OK.
With its communicative syllabus, authentic business material, and expert tips from a leading management school, plus interactive multi-media, Business Result helps students learn the communication skills they need for work quickly and effectively.
The Interactive Workbook on CD-ROM includes tests and exercises, plus a phrasebank, email templates, a business glossary, and extra reference material so students can personalize their learning for the workplace.
The book is a grammar of English with an emphasis on the practical side.Practical efficiency of all the materials used were checked in class days and years of theoretical apparatus was designed so that sections to complete practice, while providing an intellectual challenge to learn the English language.
This is an OCRed version of the book by Romanian authors. Text is in English.
A personal endeavour of Esmail Karbalaee. In this book he presents a good review of English Tenses with some exercises. This will be useful for the teachers and students alike as a brief but ample introduction.
