"Private Emotion" is a pop song written by Eric Bazilian and Rob Hyman. This song was originally recorded by The Hooters, for their 1993 album, Out of Body. It was released as a single on February 8, 2000 and featured Swedish singer Meja. The first music video, directed by Francis Lawrence, aired in March 2000.
The video depicts a flat covered with an ice blanket in the opening scene. As the song gets started, the icy milieu begins to thaw and the frozen girl starts to move. We have a journey into time, the temperature continuously rises to the point that everything catches fire. The burning passion of the singers makes time go back and sorts out the mess as well as the feeling.
