Rebecca trembled a little as the alien male held the tip of the silver armband against her upper arm. She knew what it would do, but anticipation had her heart pounding nonetheless. The band writhed as if alive, briefly, and then wrapped around her arm. He adjusted it once it stilled, and his warm, rough fingers felt much too good against her flesh.
“Seems we ought to at least know each other’s names before I accept this,” she said, looking up at the pale, dark-haired Arorian and hoping he hadn’t noticed her trembling under his touch.
