Upgrade 10 - Tests

More often than not, teachers of English are faced with challenging classroom situations: too many classes, too many students per class, or mixed ability classes. This means spending a lot of time preparing lessons and planning class work. And when assessment time comes, how do you find the opportunity to assess every student fairly and accurately without transforming your weeks into endless 24/7 shifts?
Bearing this in mind, we thought that the more assessment resources and choices you had, the more time you would have for other tasks. Therefore, our project presents you with a range of 5 tests per module - enough for you to select 1 per class, for example, according to the characteristics of the students.They cover every skill except speaking (of which there are plenty activities to choose from in the course book) and always start with listening comprehension. Each test has a variety of types of items, and a balanced level of difficulty (B1 of the Common European Framework), appropriate for 10th graders. We also provide a table of specifications, correction grids and correction criteria, so that marking the tests is made easier and more user-friendly.
