Speaking with One Heart: The Language of the Mayans

The ancient language of the Mayans, Tzotzil, preserves valuable knowledge of plants useful in food, medicine and even construction. But it has been, until now, an unwritten language. This audio documentary allows Smithsonian Institution anthropoligist Robert Laughlin and his work with Mayans living in Mexico to write a Tzotzil dictionary.
