Breast cancer continues to increase in frequency and approximately one million women per year are now diagnosed with the disease. There have been significant advances in our understanding and treatment of breast cancer and these have led to significant reductions in mortality. This book summarises current knowledge on breast cancer and provides a succinct, didactic comprehensive approach outlining how women with suspected breast cancer should be investigated and once a diagnosis is established, how they should be treated.
