New Total English Pre-Intermediate : Teacher’s Resource Disc

The New Total English Teacher’s Resource Disc provides a bank of extra material and tests to use with your class.

Class Photocopiables
— For each unit of the Students’ Book, there are six photocopiable activities.
— A contents page for all of the activities is available from the menu.
— The documents are ready to print and use in class. The second page of each document contains the relevant Teacher’s Notes.
Video Photocopiables
— There is a photocopiable activity to accompany each New Total English video.
— The documents are ready to print and use in class.
— One Answer Key is provided for all units.
Tests
Progress Tests
— There is a Progress Test for each unit which covers grammar, vocabulary and reading.
— One Answer Key is provided for all units.
Achievement Tests
— There is an Achievement Test to use halfway through the course and another to use at the end of the course.
— Each test covers listening, reading, writing and speaking.
— The Teacher’s Guide explains the structure and scoring of the tests.
— An Audio script, Answer Key and Teacher’s Notes are provided for each test.
— Audio tracks can be accessed directly from the menu and can be played on a CD player. A track listing is provided.
All tests are in Microsoft Word format. You can print them out and use them as they are, or you can edit them to suit your teaching situation, your students or your syllabus. If you make changes, remember to update the answer keys!
Audio and Video scripts
— The Class CD audio scripts and the video scripts are available from the menu, arranged by unit for ease of reference.
— The scripts are in Word format, so you can edit them to create your own exercises if you wish.
