Baby Sitters Club 70 - Stacey and the Cheerleaders

Stacey starts dating a jock basketball player and falls in with a super-cool crowd, including the cheerleaders who ask her to try out for the squad.

Stacey goes on a date with a basketball player named RJ, and though they don’t really hit it off, she gets the chance to hang out with “the Group,” the popular kids at SMS. They’re all jocks and cheerleaders, and they look down on her because she’s always hanging out with the BSC girls (two of whom are sixth-graders). Stacey starts dating Robert Brewster, who’s on the basketball team and is in “the Group,” but who doesn’t like how the popular kids at school are treated differently from the other kids.
